Sashiko Make n’ Take Workshop with Jan Johnson
Jan 01, 1970
Sashiko is a perfect technique for learning to sew by hand.  It’s an ancient Japanese mending technique used to reinforce and mend worn fabric and is currently popular as visible mending for jeans. Techniques like this contribute to sustainable fashion by reclaiming torn, worn clothes.   Sashiko is also highly decorative and suitable for embroidery projects like pillows, framed art, napkins, journal covers and others.
